About Isabelle (Baoling)

Isabelle (Baoling) Szczerbinski is a 12-year old Student Ambassador for US-ChinaStrong, a “nonprofit organization that seeks to strengthen US-China relations by investing in a new generation of leaders who have the knowledge and skills to engage with China.”

Isabelle was among ten national honorees to receive the Confucius Institute US Center’s People To People award and delivered the keynote speech at the 2017 Annual Gala at The National Press Club in Washington, DC.

Izzy speaks Mandarin, French, Polish and some Russian and won a gold medal in the 2017 National French Test, finishing 4th out of some 1000 participants.

In addition to her love of languages, particularly Mandarin, she enjoys Minecraft, tennis, rock climbing and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

She has appeared on Lifetime’s “Child Genius” with astronaut Leland Melvin (2015), filmed a pilot with Joel McHale and has a featured role in the film “Permanent” with Rainn Wilson and Patricia Arquette. (2017)
